We are a growing congregation of out-going fun-loving people who enjoy spending time together in worship and in fellowship. We are friendly and love to welcome new people to our community of faith. Our motto is "Pulling together to get things done to the Glory of God".

For those who are interested in BIBLE STUDY we have an active and fun loving group that meets every Tuesday morning at 10:30 am to discover how the Bible can enhance our lives. Everyone is welcome to join us.

We have an active POWER OF PRAYER group that meets monthly to explore different types of prayer and to pray for ourselves and others.

The UCW (United Church Women) meet on the first Monday of every month at noon to share lunch and fellowship. All women are welcome to join us.

MUSIC is important to our life of worship and fellowship. We have numerous special musical events every year. Please check out the Special Events section of the Events page for up-coming concerts.

REV. DEBBIE SHANKS, B.A., M.Div.
has been with us since July of 2005. She is a devoted worship leader, and a caring and compassionate person with many years of experience in hospice and community care. Her fun-loving attitude is contagious, as is her energetic approach to life at Westminster. Around the church, she is affectionately known as "Rev Deb".

JUDE KUDERA
is Westminster United's Music Minister and Choir Director, and a long standing member of Westminster with many musical gifts. His effervescent personality adds an element of joy and fun to musical experiences at our church.

BRUCE LILLEY
is our Church Secretary/Administrator. He is capable and efficient, and makes sure that everything around here runs smoothly. He is also friendly and good-humoured, and the man to contact for hall rentals, and for weddings.

COLIN MATTHEWS
is our Office Manager. All organizations have reams of paper work that must be done each month and Westminster is no exception. Thanks to Colin's organizational skills and dedication, everything gets done efficiently and on time.
